From fostering deep connections among our churches to stewarding our finances and administration, the Presbytery operates through several dedicated teams. Here is a look at the vital groups that support our pastors, congregations, and wider ministries.
EXECUTIVE
COMMISSION
Ruth Goldthwaite
The Executive Commission is responsible for the Presbytery's vision, administration, personnel, and finances.
The Executive Commission makes loans and grants to congregations and other validated ministries for the preservation and rehabilitation of property. An application form and criteria can be found HERE.
COMMISSION ON MINISTRY
Sarah Berkowitz
The Commission on Ministry ( COM ) supports congregations and pastors through leadership development, guidance in transitions, and resolution of
conflicts or difficulties.
The Commission on Ministry makes grants to congregational and pastoral leaders for development and ministry support. An application form can be found HERE.
CONNECTIONS
COMMITTEE
The Connections Committee creates and supports opportunities for connection among the churches and other validated ministries of the Presbytery, including our campus ministry and outdoor ministry at Camp Sawtooth.
The Connections Committee makes grants to congregations to support connectional ministry in the Snake River Presbytery. An application form can be found HERE.

NOMINATING
COMMITTEE
The Nominating Committee determines and oversees the process for nominating persons to serve in positions requiring election by our Manual of Administrative Operations.

REPRESENTATION
The main function of the Committee on Representation shall be to advise the Presbytery with respect to its membership and to that of its commissions,
committees, teams, agencies and other units in implementing the principles of participation and inclusiveness to ensure fair and effective representation in the decision making of the Presbytery.
PERMANENT JUDICIAL COMMISSION
The Permanent Judicial Commission is responsible to oversee Church Discipline and to conduct trials and appeals of remedial and disciplinary processes
BILLS AND OVERTURES COMMITTEE
The Bills and Overtures Committee convenes when proposed amendments to the Constitution are received from the General Assembly, and when overtures from the Presbytery or other presbyteries to the General Assembly are to be considered.
